"I don't like to admit that I have certain fears that interfere with my daily concerns. But, I have a problem with claustrophobia and a fear of crossing bridges. Who knows about these things. I know they are irrationally based, but overcoming them is another thing. In any event, I had been using my Light & Sound Machine for about 10 days when I had a situation arise. I found myself stuck in dense traffic one evening, having not had the need to be at the wheel myself for some time. "I am grateful for what the Light & Sound Machine has done for the relationship between my husband and myself. Ted is the type of man who is always right— that's his point of view. Because he came from a dysfunctional family, he has never learned how to risk it all in a love relationship. He has had difficulty in opening his heart and exuding warmth and affection on a personal level. Philosophically, he perceives himself as someone who loves unconditionally. "I have never been a champion golfer, but I enjoy the sport. I had been using the Light & Sound Machine for several weeks, waiting for my game to improve. It really didn't. I discussed my expectations with the home office. They told me that perhaps due to my age of 65+, maybe the process would take a bit longer. Not that I was old, but that my brain wasn't as lubricated?? At any rate, I found the Light & Sound Machine useful for other things like creativity, relaxation, problem solving, and meditation.
